Looks Like Giorgione

It wasn't just any Giorgione I thought she looked like. This is a woman on the London underground. Giorgione; born Giorgio Barbarelli da Castelfranco (c. 1477/8 – 1510[1]), Venetian.

Explanation

I have long thought of doing this. I want to show the photos that I clam look like an artist's painting and then show an example of the original artist and tell why one is like the other.

I probably won't get too deep into the explanation because it is the eyes that discover art, not the accompanying text. When I decided that a photo looked like a certain artist, I didn't look for a painting that resembled it. It all came out of my head.

It can be different things. It can be the colors. It can be the subject matter. It can be the faces. It can be the forms. You can make up your own text.
